That could be a fun idea, have people from denial donate pics for npc graphics.

Graphics are looking awesome so far. I can't wait to see this game in action.

Re: Work in progress: REALMS OF QUEST V

it's just the VIC off-tune notes that irk me. They're really only *grossly* off-tune if you stick to the table in the user guide. If you recalculate the register values from the tempered scale, you arrive at: C 255 191 223 C# 134 195 225 D 141 198 226 D# 147 201 228 E 153 204 230 F 159 207 231 F# 1...

Re: Work in progress: REALMS OF QUEST V

Here is a .d64 image containing a vic tracker file with 4 songs ( 0-3). This is an album that I started working on a little while back. I think that these tracks could make some great game music.

rzo4demos.d64

load "4demos" from vic tracker.

Re: Work in progress: REALMS OF QUEST V

I am also hoping to delegate the graphics, music and even story writing tasks to others so I can completely focus on the aspects of programming and designing the game. Give me a few days and I can send a few tracker files your way to see if you think they'll work for your game. I enjoy the Realms o...

Re: VIC Game Club - General Discussion, Game Suggestions

Unfortunately I am unfamiliar with the classic home titles of the Era outside of the Scott Adam's games. I am excited for this round, all 3 games in the last round were new to me and I enjoyed them all. Perhaps you guys should nominate some must know titles here for us less versed newbies to the vic...

Re: What do you love or hate about the VIC-20?

The only thing I would change about the vic would be to make the whole memory map visible to the vic chip, at least expansion areas would be nice.

Re: What do you love or hate about the VIC-20?

Got my first victory about 2 years ago so my poverty may be a little different as well. I love it's simplicity. I'very been teaching myself how to program with and it is an easy system to learn on for a newbie with no programing experience. The limitations on use able space for screen data graphics ...

I'm surprised golf didn't get a shout out. It is my personal favorite arcade ports. The vic version honestly my favorite version of the game.

Re: (wip) Final Quest

Change of plans concerning controls... I just got the vice vic-20 emulator for android and I am loving it. I've been playing drone-x and exit plan z on my tablet and the controls work beautifully. However The legend of victor is as of current keyboard based and the keyboard interface for the android...
