Hi, By how many pixels does the screen shifts horizontally when you increment or decrement memory location 36864? Is it the same in NTSC and in PAL? What about vertical (36865)? The reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking about finer scrolling without having to redefine all characters for the back...

Very nice, I love it. A bit fast, but I'll get used to it I guess! That's what I love about older games: original concepts. You can't rely on a dumb repeat of everyone else with slightly different graphics, taking for granted that kids will be blinded by more 3D stuff and more gore and blood splatte...

edit: too bad imageshack doesn't let me put animated gifs. I'll have to do a rough .prg sometimes I guess!
