Yes, I've tried all of the basic stuff to look for... bent or dirty pins, bad connections, etc. One is a Wico bat handle-type and the other is a typical Atari CX40 (plain black w/red or orange fire button). Both of them work great with my C=64's, but are extremely flakey on the VIC. The keyboard wor...

VIC-20 joystick port possessed!
Hey, all... My VIC's joystick port is possessed by some evil force and I'd appreciate any insight anyone may have as I try to unravel the mystery. Any joystick I plug in seems to be stuck left with the fire button down. I immediately suspected one of the 6522's, but which one? Can anyone tell me whi...

Atlantis (Imagic):
It looks to me like the Intellivision version is the best, but the VIC=20 (as a platform) had so much more potential!
Too bad I'm not a programmer... I'd love to see an updated VIC=20 version running 8 or 16K RAM!

Atlantis...
Interesting... I've played the Atari 2600 VCS version and it had three bases (the middle one could be destroyed). The Intellivison version (I used to own this one) was awesome. It had the two bases (one on either side) and in place of the center base, there was a little hangar that could launch a fl...

Atlantis by Imagic?
Has anyone on this forum played this game on the VIC? If so, can you please tell me if it is more like the Atari 2600 version (plain) or more like the Intellivision version? That one has better graphics & sound, three modes (day, dusk and night), a saucer for ship-to-ship combat and searchlights...

Big cartridges...
As compared to the TI99 4/a, the cartridges are about the same size as the VIC's, right?
I know that when I put them next to the ones for my 8-bit Atari, the VIC's cartridges are real honkers!

Newbie to the forum...
Hello, everyone! I was a C=64 guy growing up, had a couple of VIC=20's in my day, but never had software, so I didn't know what to do with them. Now I love the VIC=20 every bit as much as the 64 and am still pretty new to the VIC=20 side of the world. My user name is one of my real nicknames in the ...

My mistake...
I was looking at the wrong date and I see that none of these messages are very old at all.
But I'd still like to purchase a RAM expansion if you have any more.

Are these still available?
I would be interested in purchasing one from you if they are.
I see that some of the messages in this string are a few years old, so I had to ask.
