Re: Recommended fuse rating for 9VAC PSU

NOS should be better - what makes the caps go bad is heat (usually produced by something else in the PSU - which is why its bad design to place them near the components that produce lots of heat)

Re: Sega Light Phaser

ONLY the plain old regular 2-button pads are safe... somewhat

lightgun is NOT - but it can likely be rewired to work with vic20 easily, see here

Re: 4ty - 40x25 interlaced text mode on unexpanded VIC 20

you could reduce the flicker considerably on PAL too if you'd set up an irq routine that switches between the two frames every scanline.... and then in even frames make the first scanline show frame1, second frame2 etc and in odd frames the other way around. would take quite a bit of CPU of course.

Re: Help with VICE and Aart Bik's compiler- Just back in the group

use either "xvic foo.prg" on commandline, or start xvic and just drop the .prg into the window

and... cc65 toolchain IS available for osx, of course :)

WDC has a commercial 6502 core

unless you are planning to manufacture a couple million devices - dont even think about that one =P

Re: Vic-20 mouse driver & demo program for NEOS mouse

1351 wont work on vic20 :/

Kakemoms: if you dont find that disassembly - even knowing what version of mouse cheese you disassembled would help (easy enough to find the mouse stuff ...)
