Vic 20 listing scans

Just wanted to quickly check, but i've got a few Home Computer Weekly magazines which I notice has a few games probably not yet preserved.

Would people like me to scan them and pop links here every so often when I get a chance?

Vic/C64 BASIC text editor

More of a programming "tool" question, but just browsing through some old magazines and listings for the C64 and Vic 20 and just had a thought... Is there any text editor out there which is pretty much the equivalent of Notepad, but with the C64/Vic 20 character set (Including all the extr...

I think Denial has been a great resource for the Vic 20 and overall its contributed to the Vic 20 increasing in support and releases each year. Thanks Jeff for hosting such a great resource! This year has been a truly stunning year for the same reasons mentioned - the likes of the Megacart, Gamebase...

I've been really enjoying GB20 over the last few days. One great ability is to do cross searches with developers to see what other games they developed. Interesting to find the alternate version to Myriad that was done on Cartridge.

Repeating what i've said elsewhere, but a top job! .... Big hand to Mayhem for excellent (and no doubt very tiring) work!

Right, I used a Vixen cart set to 8k .. giving 12xxx bytes free etc and plugged that in. This time I got something different - just a black/blank screen when switched on. So it seems to have triggered something. Pressed some keys, joystick buttons etc - but nothing though. As requested, here is the ...

Thanks Mike - i'll give that a try when I next get chance. Will a Vixen multi-ram cart set to 8k be sufficient for a test?

It's got a bit of black (leathery) tape over the back of the pins. No chips or anything like that.

Anyone know what this cart is?

Hi everyone, Recently I picked up this interesting looking cartridge, mainly as it had the Mr Micro logo on it. Originally from the ebay auction picture, it looked like it might be a C64 based cart - but upon arrival I found it was a Vic 20 cart (Or at least has the same amount of pins). http://gtw6...

Count me in for an order when Kenz releases it on the label. I'll hold out for then. It's great being able to get brand new Vic 20 games in physical form :)

Super Bank Manager preserved

A bit of money management software preserved: Super Bank Manager 1983 Mr Chip Software http://gtw64.retro-net.de/super-bank-manager.rar Includes 4 TAP images (All the same game, just made incase the tape was bad), and a 600dpi scan of the cover. As its not strictly GB20 related, can anyone grab this...

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I just came across this doing a web search today and found this thread.

I don't suppose anyone has the TAP image or a .prg image of this game by any chance? (Has it been preserved for GB20?)

New release: Carling the Spider

I hadn't seen a post about it, but Carling the Spider is now on sale from Psytronik Software. I noticed the other day that it was no longer on pre-order. I don't think sadly there is any demo available, but i've ordered it and recieved my digital copy tonight and can say its an excellent game :) I'v...
