I have been busy refurbishing a couple of VIC pcbs recently ..and am down to my last 2 x UE12 901486-07 chips ROMs .. In light of their scarcity ..Im wondering if I can clone such chips to Eprom..? I have a UV Eraser and some random Eprom chips. My question is .. If this is possible .. what programm...

Made an impulse bid on a Vic on Sunday .. It just arrived today .. £25 including postage ..but had no PSU so sold as untested .. I was very pleasantly surprised when it powered up to a goodish picture on composite.. There is a modulator with it ..and bonus ..a 1630 C2N Datassette ....plus all origin...

S video looks to be the best option ...

So how do you guys display your VICs if you also dont own CRTs ? Is it best to try and locate an LCD with RF input ? or are there mods that can be done to the V...

I may just retrofit some IC bases in my oldest working VIC (made in Germany WGB SN 66319) 9Volt AC psu ...that way I can test some chips going forward ..
