Re: Protecto Votrax-based speech synthesizer
@orion70 Could you post a photo of the insides of the cart ? I'm fairly sure it's based on the rare SPO256 chip but they have the SpeakJet chip out now so it makes for a decent replacement. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d22/darkatx/speech%20copy_zpstys4waoy.jpg There's even have a Text to Speec...

Please don't judge me...I promise I can change just give me another chance. Sadly that was a joke (or at least me trying to be funny).pixel wrote:... Many people would probably grab the whole pile, throw it out of the window and watch porn instead…

Re: WIP - Demons of Dex
Hi, played it a few times already and its very addictive! My last score was 2860. By the way, is there anyway to restart the game without literally reloading it? Could be my settings in my emulator... :/
Still well done!

Re: Thinking of a SuperCPU VIC
...I'm mainly bringing the mainboard redesign into play, as the external cartridge solution would - in a certain sense - anyway 'degrade' the original mainboard into a graphics adapter card for the external computer. I was thinking maybe doing the opposite...instead of trying to make a SuperCPU why...

I honestly haven't played backgammon in over 35 years and I had forgotten the rules...LOL.
Downloaded it today and played it thoroughly - the AI on hardest has beaten me 18 pts to my 1.
Quite the game - well done!

This will almost be the best of the 'Ports' list. I'll keep it to general makers in no particular order. Jeff Daniels - Denial site owner with an extensive library of games that are enjoyable Jeff Minter - an extensive library - deserves to be mentioned as well even though I haven't played his games...

Back in 1982, when I got my Commodore Vic-20 for Christmas - I was so thrilled. If someone had told me 'Hey kid, you'll get to make artwork for epic Vic-20 games and 'talk' with people all over the world!' - news like that would have blown my mind.

Re: Dumb Question about Voltage
Ah, the good ol' Voltaic pile. :) Yeah, I guess you could use this as a cheap arc welder, eh? I looked it up - he has enough to boost his car if he did a few of them in parallel huh? Pretty sure those batteries cannot stay connected for longer than a few seconds at a time...surprised he didn't damag...

Might have been a quirk of how he played....maybe he kept changing sides (via the magical wraparound) so Bluto never was able to approach?
