Re: WIP - Vicmine
Thanks guy, glad you both liked it.
I had considered the possibility of a physical release, that would just be the icing on the cake, to hold a tape copy in my hand. Something I will have to look into further.

Re: WIP - Vicmine
I have finally finished tinkering with my version of Minesweeper and have updated the above download with the final version (unless anyone runs into any problems) and an instruction manual.
Enjoy!

WIP - Vicmine
Hi everyone, I've been busy this year teaching myself 6502 assembly (mainly to fulfill one of my childhood ambitions). I have found it incredibly rewarding although at times challenging, the end result is my interpretation of Minesweeper for the unexpanded Vic 20. It is not quite finished, I think i...

Re: Best way to share a collection (virtually)
Funny, I have been thinking along the same lines. I've spent too much money in 2014 purchasing bits and pieces (nothing too expensive or rare) and have been thinking for a while that I should find a way to share and document what I have. Having blogged before I was heading in that direction, some co...

Re: Say Yoho!
Hi Scott, first let me add my welcome to the chorus of greetings already received and to thank you for your contribution to computer history and for many enjoyable hours spent tapping away at the keyboard. Nowadays I am collecting all the games I never had chance to play during my first time round a...

In that case put my name down for #2 (or whatever number). As much as I love having digital files to play with, having a physical product is something extra special these days. Count me in!

Re: Bertie The Ball (16k)
I am totally addicted to this game.
I have found the lamp and the key as well, but the thought of bringing everything together still seems near impossible, yet I just can't give up.
Thanks once again for showing what the VIC is really capable of

Re: Bertie The Ball (16k)
Absolutely stunning, there are some great games being released at the moment and this is no exception. Looks fantastic, sounds perfect and plays beautifully. There is a frustrating addictive quality to this, I stopped playing (on VICE) to post this and want to get back onto it right now and play som...

Re: Introduce Yourself: What's your User Name based on?
Hello everyone, I've been lurking a while now, enjoying the discussions, but it is about time I spoke up and said hello. My name is John, my nickname is an acronym: life in the old dog yet. Not sure whether that is me or the VIC, or both? The VIC 20 was my first home computer, before progressing to ...
