Yes, next time for Road Toad indeed! Not technically Santa, but along those lines. I play in a pipe band so Saturday starts out in the morning with a Remembrance Day parade in Acton, followed by a reception for a couple of band members that are retiring in the afternoon, and then the Georgetown Sant...

Centallica, unfortunately real life has interfered with my plans for Saturday evening and it looks like I'm not going to be able to make it after all. Hope you guys have a great time and I'll be a little more careful planning when the next one comes up. :)

Oh, come on. We both know you'll try to sell it to me for $100. Bah. The only way I'm getting $100 out of you is if I try to sell you $200. Worse yet, you'll walk away if I stand firm at $150! Hahaha! Now that's funny. Thanks for the daily chuckles Golan. :) We're all thrifty in this h...

The problem is that the only modem driver I have which is for the 1670 rev 2 doesn't behave with tcpser or bbs server properly. I also don't have the original documentation anymo...

I remember when I first discovered I could jack my Volks 6420 up to 450 baud. It was a joyous occasion indeed. It even made the Darkstar flashing cursor press return prompt cooler. ;)

I have a strange feeling that I've got to play in a Santa Clause parade that day (Nov. 10), but I'll be along as soon as that's finished. The last one was too fun not to participate again!

Sure! In my somewhat limited VIC experience, I don't ever remember playing a 2 player cooperative style game like this. It'd be fun!

Oddly, Road Toad was one of the very first games I played on my VIC. I thought it was a really good Frogger version back then. I should re-play it to see whether it has held up.

Eslapion: I know for me, I'd rather the time be taken to do the thing properly. I'm really excited about this project and looking forward to it, but I'll be more excited with the highest quality product we can mustre even if it does take a bit more time.
