Do you mean directly or using the pc hard drive with a serial cable? I Have not tried either on the Vic but I have tried both on the 64. I like the serial cable using the pc hard drive the best.

sx-64

I don't know, I have sold a couple sx-64's and shipping is expensive. I usually double box them and completely cover the sx with 4 inch foam. I sold one to a guy in Uk a couple months ago for $250.00. the shipping was $150.00. What is the weight of the kim?

I remember mission impossible tapes always destructing! haha. About the 5.25 drive, I still use them, I have a box of new teac drives. I mostly use them with the catweasel. But hopefully my new xm1541 will be replacing those duties for the 64 and vic.

extracting d.64 files on c64

Does anyone know of a good d.64 extractor for the 64? Or, is there a way to write d.64 files to 1541 for use on c64 with a pc and xm1541 cable? thanks
