well, not quite in the same league as $11,000, but I'm definitely going to root out my copy. I have a horrible feeling I gave it away a few years back...

I always liked Sabre Wulf (one of the few games I played to completion), but alas I'm not the someone you need!

Anyone know why this Amiga game is going for so much?

I'm sure I've got a copy of this game, but I've never noticed that it was potentially valuable before.

Replying to my own message! I guess I should have asked a slightly different question, since I am aware of the canonical commodore hardware list, which does pretty much what I asked originally. So, has anyone made a list - with pictures - of the different types of Vic-20 - and put it up on the inter...

Types of Vic-20

Has anyone put together a definitive list of the types of vic-20 that have been produced around the world? I have two rather different ones, an early one with Pet keyboard (serial no. WGB 0252 - is this serial number as low as it seems?) - and a rather later one with C64 type keyboard (serial WGB 20...

The black one with numbers all over it is indeed a switchable 16K RAM expansion. That does have two switches on the front. It's the exact one I used to have as a kid, which is nice... I guess the idea with the other cartridge is that if I could burn some EPROMs, I could insert these in the sockets a...

No - no switches. It does work as a 3K expansion.

I've put a picture of the inside here

I recently won this auction - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8128290184 just wanted to see what the Red AM cartirdge was - having not seen one before (I'm relatively new to collecting again - so apologies if it's actually common). Turns out it's a "3K Static RAM/EPROM ...

Welcome. Great avatar!
Thanks! Was almost worth posting just to use it :)

Hopefully I won't create too much noise around here, but somehow or other it seemed appropriate.

Hello!

Hello! Just thought I'd introduce myself, and share a few memories. I got my first Vic-20 back in about 1983 - I'll never forget my Dad taking me shopping and buying my first computer in Boots, just like I'll never forget the day he surprised me with a Vixen switchable 16K expansion! I still have th...
