I wish I could help. Good luck with the transition though. :)

Can I ask if there's going to be any added functionality to the site or is it just basically security plugs?

Congratulations on your new toy!

I got my first Vic back in 1985 for Christmas. Then Commodore ceased production to concentrate on it's interloping brother!

Hmm, I'll get back to you guys. I played through a few of them the other day and everything on the Vic20 d64 image ran fine but I just tried again and I get nothing?! Anyway, Lars supplied an installer and launcher along with the d64 images so if you're comfortable with an EXE file involving an inst...

That is super cool. I'd love to see some video and better photos. Do you think that's possible? I really want to see the marquee properly. Also, do you intend to keep the cab once the exhibit has ended? It would look lovely in any living room... :) You, sir, are a proper genius. Your games are works...

Thanks very much for your informative reply. That makes things a lot clearer to me. :) It does sound interesting and I'll continue to follow this thread with a slightly more informed frame of mind. Good luck with the feature implementation. I quite like the idea of a Vic being used as an MP3 player ...

Nice! The remix is quite subtle but it works really well.

You should get your bro to remix some Vic tunes - How about Robotic Liberation? :P

Just like my last three tape purchases! None of them worked in any of my tape decks... bummer. :(

Maybe we should set up the Vic Denial Cassette Remaster Foundation. We could produce brand new tapes with nice new shiny inserts and everything! :P

^ As an old guy with an old computer but with really new hardware and not a lot of free time I wholeheartedly love this idea! I have a Mega-Cart and an FE3 and I just know I'm not getting the full benefit out of either of them. The useful info is at best vague and scattered and it's really difficult...

I just tried it out on my netbook with Chrome. It ran really slowly but it's still super impressive nonetheless. Do you think it can be speed optimised or is that just not possible in JS?

Out of curiosity, would something like this run much faster in HTML5?

Regardless, great work. :)

I wish I was clever. Then I'd write software for the iPhone and Android that would allow the playback of TAP and TZX files into Commodore and Speccy computers. That way I could dispense with my old and flaky Datasettes altogether. As it stands, to load tape games I have to use an assortment of 3 dif...

Sorry for the inane questions but I've gone through this thread and I'm kind of lost! What are the features of this cart? Does it supersede any of the carts already out there (FE3, MC etc). Is there a realistic ETA, will it be for sale and is there a price in mind?! Again, sorry if this is all cover...

Okay, so 'this evening' turned out to be 'in 4 days time'. Sorry for that. Anyway, finally, here's the link: http://www.filefactory.com/file/4hio20r8qdql/n/d64_7z I can put up the Power Point if anyone's interested. The author of these games is called Lars Svensson. I'll email him later with ...

^ These games are nowhere near the quality of Parachute though they can be fun. Sorry for the delay in uploading them. I keep forgetting to get around to it! I'll put them up on Mediafire this evening. :) PS: I should say that I do have the permission of the original author to share his games. :)
