Bowman: That is pretty nice use. One VIC hardware setup I would like to have someday, is have a Vic20, monitor and control a greenhouse (lights on-off, survey soil humidity and water, as well as air temperature). It would also be nice to have the Vic store humidity and temperature data on floppy or ...

Re: datasette not getting power

Hello. I have a cassette player, actually not a datasette but a third party thing called "data master". It works fine on my c64, but does not on my VIC. It detects when play is pressed but the motor does not go. The only other thread I read about a similar problem suggested the power supp...

Could this game engine be adapted to recreate the Wizard battle game Arena by Cult Games / Chaos by Julian Gollop on the Vic20? That would be really cool. On the C64 up to 8 wizards (Human or Computer controlled) battle it out on a turn based strategy with spell casting, battle and movement rounds ...

For Vicmas, I want a version playable via vicmodem with a human player on the other side of the phone line/network.

That is asking much (too complex to justify putting the time in?), but how cool would that be !!!!

I bet it would be more fun than any playstation multiplayer game out there....

Hi Mayhem! Vic-20 digital archeology - tape bootlegs

One of the exciting things about old computer media is the genuine chance of discovering unique programs , since back in the day, so many people seemed to create their own programs and games for their needs. Here are two pretty old bootlegs I have rescued, in pretty bad shape, they were among a huge...

I can'T remember the last time I played hotseat on a computer with someone , it's probably been since pre-teen years. I've got to say those little unit icons are neatly done. if you continue like that ...
