Amazing eBay lot sold...
eBay auction 230948685602 Did someone here win this? There was tons of awesome stuff there. I didn't bid because it exceeded my allowance, but I wish I had been completely irresponsible and bid to win anyway. I could have kept the 6 things I wanted and passed the rest onto someone else... but that's...

Now that I have a SD2IEC, I haven't used the disk or tape drive once. I've also found myself trying to figure out some modern and practical use for a VIC modem, but I have no answers. I'm not getting rid of any of these things, just wondering if anyone else has asked the same questions and come up w...

This isn't exactly a template, but it's a fairly decent scan of a cart label. Maybe it will help.

I had to uninstall Game Base, VICE emulators, VICE settings, scrub the system of anything Game Base and VICE related, followed by a clean install of only the files provided. No clue as to why it took over a dozen installation attempts to get it running, all following the directions. But at least it'...

Thanks! What score? Easy or hard? So I'm not the only one who doesn't sleep at night ;-) I made it to 87 (I think, it was definitely a number in the 80s), but most of my scores hover between 40-60. I keep hoping that the horizontal colors will match and disappear :D Tonight I'm not so good... I onl...

- Topic: Why VIC-20 and not C64?

Unlike most who have posted so far, I did not have a VIC or C64 growing up. My schools had TRS-80s, Apple IIs, and PCs and our house had a TS1000, a few Apple IIs, and eventually Macs. The VIC interested me for a brief time in the early 80s but that was replaced by other machines as newer, greater, ...

Just to clarify things so that I don't do anything I will later regret... I would like to be able to run cart games loaded from a SD2IEC. I have a 16K expansion cart. If I make the jumper change described above to my 16K cart, it should be able to properly load and play cart game images. Will the mo...

Raspberry Pi as a VIC-20/C-64 Tool?
I've noticed solutions for using a Raspberry PI as a SIO device for Atari computers. Has anyone heard of anything similar in the works for the VIC or C64?
