This seller had multiple copies of several Romox titles in sealed condition. I missed the first few he had listed, but I messaged him and he told me he had more. I told him I was interested in purchasing a few of the titles he had, but I never heard back from him.

Another copy of this was sold on eBay last month. Was this the same copy, or a second one?

Seems like they're not the same titles as the VIC - obviously they're arcades instead of text strategy. Can you confirm the list is complete? Yes, that list is complete, and they are all action/arcade-style games. Death Trap , Out of Control and Shuttle Orbiter are Atari 2600 originals that are uni...

Re: Crater Raider

What are you supposed to do on screen 20 where there's a huge pit? You need to drop a bomb in the large pit. You then have 3 minutes to return to your ship (the starting point) before the planet blows up. It's too wide to jump. Am I missing something? The game seems so simple up to that point. Ther...

Doesn't usually sell for much. $20 maybe if it's in good shape. Last one at open auction only sold for around 10-12 USD, but the box was trashed.

If you want to sell it, send me a PM and we'll talk.

Re: Dot Gobbler sells for big $$$$

Dot Gobbler went for $260! Yeah, and all the other 24 original boxed games included were free!!?? You could say it only cost $10.40, as did all the other games. Exactly. I was the one who bid $255 and lost the auction (which I expected to win easily). I wanted all the boxed games, no...

I was wondering why these auctions ended so high.

I think this project's objectives are aimed at the retro collector, and not the enthusiast / gamer interested in the "antiquing" aspect of a prototype. Dare I say, it's for the classes, not the masses. Correct. I certainly don't expect people to spend over $50 on this game just so they ca...

Despite all of the whining, no one is being forced to buy anything and everyone is eventually going to get to play the game. It's simply that those who buy the cartridges get it first. Is that unreasonable or unfair? No, I don't think it is. If that's a problem for you, I'm sorry, but I'm not giving...

GreyGhost, most of your comments are either completely ridiculous or have already been covered. Having cartridge shells and boards made would cost a fortune, and I am NOT releasing the game on floppy disk. You won't need to worry about the price, since you won't be getting one. I'm the one with my t...

Just an update. I apologize to anyone who had hoped to purchase a copy of this game. It was not my intent to disappoint anyone, but I was not able to attend the CGE for various reasons outside my control. I am still planning on offering this game for sale and hope to release it by this year's end. M...

I think almost everyone who owns a VIC-20 these days (i.e. collectors) has a 1541 or compatible hooked up to it. I'm in Canada and I think 1541s are more common than VICs (since they were popular with the C64). I'm quite aware of the fact that 1541 disk drives are dirt common, but that doesn't make...

I think some are worried because Sega carts don't seem very plentiful. There are no common Sega games for the VIC (even if they are obviously less valuable than this new Tac Scan). Yeah I can understand that. I wish there was another way, but there really isn't. As it is, we're lucky that (most of)...

A disk release seems impractical no matter what angle you look at if from. Regardless of all other factors, I can't imagine who would buy such a thing. That would've seemed logical back in the 80's, but there are better ways of distributing the game nowadays. As far as a digital download is concerne...
