Re: A tribute to Micro-Antics and preserving all their titles

Well done on the preservation and the thoughtful contact with the family.

This is a nice bit of preservation to read through.

Re: Help with cover art project

Hi Jeff, I hope all is well with you. How are you getting on with the TheVic20 and the Votrax? I have the Gamebase art and have also found some more online by recovering Arma and some other images. I was surprised there was so little community interest in this project. I will drop you a pm one it is...

Well done, it certainly was an excellent game to look into.

JetPac and Star Defence (especially on fast mode) were very impressive and very playable even 40 years later.

JetPac on the Vic20 is much better than on the Spectrum :D

F to fight, E to escape, you need 5 or more rings to beat a Dragon.

Shouldn't this be named Traffic.tap to avoid archiving mistakes?

The Wayback Machine has a lot of the site.

Help with cover art project

Please can you help with links to cover art from cassettes? In Gamebase there are about 120 images of the cassette inlays in Extras vs. 2000+ gameplay screenshots. I am looking for good quality inlay scans for a project. I managed to get some using the Wayback machine to look at Arma's tape site. Ar...

Re: Suggestions, please!

If the audience is familiar with the 64, I would suggest popular variations like Gridrunner or Omega Race because they look so different on a VIC. ....Better on the Vic :D Laser Zone is the best Jeff Minter game in my opinion, great sound although Metagalactic Llamas Battle At The Edge Of Time has ...

Well done Simon, quite the achievement.

It is a great cart, I have 2 now, picked up a non working one - someone had switched the DIP switch off ;-)

I will try and find some time to give it a go.

Well, that's definitely not what I was expecting! Not just a ROM image then, you need a cartridge with both the ROM and a bunch of RAM for this to work. Do we know if it sorts out the baked-in screen width of 22 that the KERNAL uses when you scroll down a line? Hi Jon, I am happy to fire it up and ...
