Thanks all for the messages.

I'm making good progress on refamiliarising myself with the code and (small) fixes at the moment. So no new demo to post yet, but I'll have something up within the next few days.

I'd just like you to all know that I have picked up development of Q*Bert again and am refamiliarising myself with my code and current bugs etc. Unfortunately personal circumstances have lead to this unintended sabbatical. My apologies to Saehn and Mike, who have contributed their own time freely an...

I got a lot of great feedback for a job well done, and I really do appreciate that. Firstly, and publicly.... kudos! You inspired me to the efforts I am making, not to mention that Omega Fury is a great game! It's refreshing to see somebody who cares about the background as well as the game mechani...

:( You have no idea how much havoc and self-harm I can wreak with a soldering iron!

Maybe I can find a paid volunteer to assemble one for me :)

Hey cool! I wasn't worried, as like I said, I ordered late, and I appreciate how much work you have to put into assembling each one.

Very nice improvement, the title screen is perfect Saehn's graphics are just amazing on the VIC ..i just suggest to use the fire button too when you want to start the game from the title screen even if you say F1 to start. Good suggestion, I've added it to my To Do list now. Another thing, when you...

Man, both of these projects look fantastic. My fear is, though, that all this effort and development will go for nothing unless some software dudes start working alongside the hardware lot and make something useful at launch as it were... It's certainly tickling my interest. The things that appeal t...

Strange, there seem to be 2 threads for QBert now! Mods, can you join them together? Sorry guys, my progress has been a bit slow for the last couple of weeks. I have managed to add a few things: Sprites now have individual colour and I've buffered the colour changes to prevent flicker. Optimised the...

Thanks for all the encouragement. I had an object lesson in the value of backups today. The flash drive I've been using for my development of the game corrupted and is now unreadable by any computer. Fortunately I've been taking regular daily backup to another flash drive and only lost around 2 hour...

Funny, I remember when I was real young my Vic 20's power supply went. And I stuffed tinfoil in the fuse socket... Number of times I've stuck metal in sockets as a child, I'm surprised I'm still alive. :D :D I did this as a kid too. I stuck a set of spare keys into a 240v electrical socket, there w...
