Re: Mini 32K RAM expansion hides in your cartridge port.

I just realised it is 20 years since I did that expansion. A long time ago. It is still working properly in the same Vic20, but 2 years ago it found a better home.

Re: Mini 32K RAM expansion hides in your cartridge port.

It makes me very happy to see that someone has done something with the info I once posted! Nice to see a proper implementation, good work.
The reason I made my expansion internal was to be able to rip cartridges and never have to remove the expansion.

I use the C64C keyboard with my original VIC20 case. The beige-on-beige looks very nice!

Very nice indeed!

I like the Zoids clip, very close to the real thing.

www.dino.se has imported and sold the NTSC variant, and says something about the V2 comming later... I don't think they are too much in a hurry to get them though. Maybe we should mail-bomb them? Heh, quoting myself. Strange feeling... Anyway, dino appears to have the PAL-version now, http://www.di...

Nah, the split is actually OK. This is about the player SW, the other thread about the mixer (much more low-level). Given that the mixer supports volumes on a per-channel basis it is possible to implement ADSR in the player without too much work. It'd be cool to make a player with decent instrument ...

I really look forward to getting a PAL V2, but I guess I'll have to wait a long while before I can get one here in Sweden.

Well, I wrote 256play a long time ago... Nice to see someone mention it again! I don't know what version you are looking at, but I made 2 different versions, 1 that had volume control and one without (faster). The mixer is the thing that is good and quite optimized but the player is really crappy, s...
