OEM carts

I have not been active here for several years. Can someone tell me if these two carts still have a nice value? I know they are quite rare but can anyone tell me in what price range? I am not looking for a sale, just help to estimate the value. 20170723_003428933_iOS.jpg 20170723_003515010_iOS.jpg 20...

The XLR outputs is not balanced, they are connected to the same audio outputs as the rca's, that way you don't need any adapters if you going to use XLR-cables. (To Boray, the spraypaint is also from Biltema)

but how is the monitor powered? By a separate power supply? Yes! The TFT uses 12 volts and the connection for the 12 volts is on the back, near the normal power input. It might work with a voltage regulator to boost up the voltage to 12 volts but I guess I need to use a more heavy duty power supply...

ral-clan wrote:Where did you get the little LCD TV or monitor (and if a monitor does it accept a PAL signal)?
The monitor is a standard monitor for use in cars. This one got a higher resolution so the picture is real good. The price is around 180 US$. I think it takes both PAL and NTSC.

Re: got my hands on some rare cartridges

I had just a visit from Carlsson, "Close Encounters" and "Tank Wars" are now dumped on a disk. Some kind of copy protection was discovered but are probably easy to remove .
Carlsson took the disk home and will post the dump soon.

As for two players only, OEM apparently designed a secondary joystick interface too. Me and Stonan found the empty box (in very good condition) but not the actual interface. It is a shame. I suppose it would plug into the user port. Perhaps these games support a such interface. Yes I have that box ...
