Here's a couple I whipped together in a hex editor:

Avenger.vrt

Battlezone.vrt

I think these conform to nojoopa's specifications.

I think he was about 13 then. I had worked all summer to get the money to buy it, and I hadn't even plugged it in yet and it was broken. He's just lucky (and I suppose I am too) that our parents were in the same room at the time.

Still have mine, when I took it out of the box my younger brother asked "Do the keys come off?", as he snapped the F1 key right off. I fixed it by using a tiny drill bit to drill a hole in the two pieces of the broken part and super glued them back together with a piece of straight pin. My...

If you want to save to the "virtual drive" or a folder, just use:

s "test" 0 1000 1DFF

0 is the "virtual drive" from the monitor.

With sd2iec it's a good idea to name all your files on the sd card as lowercase. Uppercase is viewed by commodore computers as graphics characters.

My choices: Worst: Nintendo 64, too big, too busy, and just too clumsy! Xbox (all), too big. Atari 5200, they're broken more than they work. Atari 7800, just no good. Intellivision, worthless. Best: Playstation (1 - 3), just the right size and just keep getting better with each system. Atari 2600, c...

Awesome utility for uIEC.

Would it be possible to reset system colors and clear the screen before running selected program?

Thanks.

Sounds like you've tried the simple stuff, are the 6522's socketed? If so, try removing then reseating them if that doesn't work try swapping them.

If they are soldered then it's all up to trial and error.

Good luck.

A little more info would be nice. What kind of joysticks? Just because it has the same connector doesn't mean it's compatible with commodore systems. Do you see this behavior when the joystick is not connected? Look at the joystick connector from the outside and inside the case, see if any pins look...

I've used a program called D64IT to copy .d64 images to real floppies and vice versa. Unfortunately it's written for the C64, but, I found this old thread here on DENIAL, where a member attempted to create a VIC version of D64IT. http://sleepingelephant.com/v-web/bulletin/bb/viewtopic.php?t=3845&...

Awesome! Thank you. :D :D

I was contemplating disassembling the C64 version and rebuilding it for VIC but I thought I'd start by asking here first. Glad I did.

Thank you!

Thanks, but this is the same one I already have.

Kbasic-c64 and Kbasic-vic are exactly the same, they are both the C64 version.

Anyone have the Vic version of this driver? The links to rmelick's files seem to be dead.

I have a .d64 that has kbasic-64 and kbasic-Vic but both are the same C64 version.

Thanks.
