Yes! Another awesome game, thanks Jeff!
I can't believe it fits in 3.5k!

Like you say, rock hard on emulator. It took me about 15 tries to get away. The hardest part was shooting the guard - not because of the controversy, but because the timing was so tricky.

Hm yes, this may be a suitable entry into a crap game compo if made with tongue in cheek.

lulu.com can do a 192 page color hardcover 9"x7" for $33.33, plus shipping, made to order. That's 1/2 the price of the spectrum book hardcover.

It looks a lot like Xonox's Robin Hood.

Thanks for the replies.
I don't know how the mastering works, but I got the impression that he has a piece of hardware that takes a commodore disk and makes tapes.

Frank, I'll PM you Simon's email address and tell him to expect your mail.

Thanks again!

Hi everyone, I was planning to have the game published by Cronosoft, with a box like this: http://www.kweepa.com/step/games/bluestarbox.jpg Unfortunately Simon at Cronosoft is having trouble getting the game onto a 1541 floppy so that he can master the tapes. Is there anyone in the UK willing to tra...

It's similar, but not identical. See the bevelled lower corner of the 4 in ITC Machine for an obvious difference. Also, the gaps between strokes, and the thickness of the central strokes of "M" and "W". None of the "commodore" fonts found match the "d" of the ...

From memory, didn't he also find memory in the ROM which decoded into acceptable levels...or was that Splatform? I don't know about the levels (it's possible I guess), but it certainly looks like some of the tile graphics are doing double duty, perhaps as code or multicolor versions of letters or s...

Astro Nell's map format

Hi, I don't know if this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find anything with a search, so... I was very impressed by the complexity of the rooms in Astro Nell, and have been wondering how 4mat squeezed them into 3.5k. I had a eureka moment yesterday. http://www.kweepa.com/step/pix/astronell...
