Re: 11 Vintage games from ALA Software (rare)

Will take a look myself later... Would it be possible to one-file them, or do a d64, in order to try them on real hardware? Hello Orion70, how does one d64 a tap file? Let me know and I can do that. Also, I've tested all the games I attached and they work fine on my Vic, I just had to use a Tapuino...

Re: MULTIPLE KEY INPUT

[... so] all you need to do is connect the diodes to make it work[?]. To decouple the matrix, each key contact needs to have a diode put in series, on the ke...

Re: Reset switch - will this work?

Hi necronom, reset button always good idea. Red marks on your pic is showing a connection from pin 1 (GROUND) to pin 3 (RESET), so it's showing right. Some attention should be paid to pin 2 (+ 5V max. 100 mA // References: Programmieranleitung C64 - user port pinning seams vic 20 compatible). Keep a...

Re: Chuckie Egg!

It doesn't seem to behave well on my (NTSC) VIC 20 - the screen is offset to the bottom right to the point that the bottom few pixel rows aren't on my monitor and the farmer disappears when he gets close to the right side of the screen, only to reappear when he gets caught by a chicken. [...] Check...

Re: MULTIPLE KEY INPUT

So this would mean that if you build a keyboard yourself, all you need to do is connect the diodes to make it work.
What kind of diodes would it have to be?

Interesting found. Maybe rare piece, never seen before. Seems US stuff only. I could't find anything too either https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://opencorporates.com/companies/us_ks/0702530&ved=2ahUKEwjQwsiBhM_yAhUz_7sIHePVDJwQFnoECBQQAQ&usg=AOvVaw0KV91B...

...However, I am curious what the problem was, if anyone has any input! I guess the loader ran out of memory. Starting at 4609, with Sys 4880 remains 271 bytes free for basic. In addition the machine code program must be protected, lowering basic room with, for example Starting with Run 80 80 Poke ...

Re: Re-inking MPS801 ribbon

I've found a solution where my hands stay clean. Fax paper roll. It no longer matters how good the ribbon is. Maybe not good for business, but for some listing dumps IMO OK. The fixation of the bracket is a bit tricky, but doable. Look that. Is not the on original MPS801 but compatible SP-180VC. WP_...

Good idea. It could also be about demos, ones with unusual graphics and sound effects, in my opinion there are too few for our brave MHz ace machine
