I have another Vic 20 and a SD2IEC and would like to put another game up. The game has to be original (so no games that are rip offs off arcade ga...

Re: Editing a .PRG file

In the grand scheme of things, I am unlikely to run anything more then Matrix, so what ever works is good.

Re: VIC-1510 monitor specs: need translation from Japanese

The middle bit says (although there are one or two things I was not sure about). 14-inch colour monitor that is designed for the VIC-1000 personal computer series. You can enjoy the rich clear sound by high-reliability design speaker. The world of the VIC, more vivid and more crisp and expansion ( h...

Re: Editing a .PRG file

Basically, the Vic 20 is in a unit which needs to be opened by removing two bolts. It is one unit but part of 130 other games, so the less work that can be done the better. Typing in just LOAD "M+.PRG",8 Will load the program you wrote but once it loads the READY prompt turns up and then y...

Re: VIC-1510 monitor specs: need translation from Japanese

Not sure if you got a translation yet, but this is the right part which is the tech specs. I will only translate the rest of it, if you still want it. Dots should be pixel, but I left it as the literal translation. (Text at top left) New product VIC-1510 color monitor (With connection cable) Main Sp...

Re: Editing a .PRG file

mike - It was a .d64, although it only contained .prg file. I have not really looked at the SD2IEC interface that much, just that when I first bought it the instructions pointed at using OPEN1,8,15,"CD:file.D64":CLOSE1:LOAD"*",8 to load the game, it worked so I left it at that. T...

Editing a .PRG file

I have a real Vic 20 (both NTSC and PAL) which I do use in an video game exhibition so we can show off games on real hardware. It has an SD2IEC attached to make loading of game (currently one) easier. We show off Matrix as it is probably the best game on the system and one of the best and original s...
