Re: What games are notable

All 12 games are good choices. However, I would have included the Scott Adams Text Adventure Series. I had a couple of these as a kid and loved them. They opened the way to larger Infocom games on the Commodore 64 such as Zork.

I played the "It Came From the Grave" demo on the website. Lots of fun!

Re: OEM carts

Just for clarification, when I said I'm surprised at how much prices vary. I meant for the same cart. I know that some of them are common and not worth much while others are extremely rare and worth a bundle.

Re: OEM carts

I'm surprised at how much the prices of Vic-20 carts vary. I missed out on a cheap Close Encounters not too long ago but I think you would get at least $100 each for these. I know I would be interested in buying both of them if they were for sale.

Re: Vic-20... still keeps on tickin'

Nice! Everything looks like it's in great condition. I have a bunch of Verbatim disks that I purchased back in the day also :)

Here's a picture of the "Commodore Corner" of my gameroom. I always keep by C-64 and Vic-20 hooked up.

Re: What do you love or hate about the VIC-20?

I was only 12 years old or so when I got my Vic-20. I was trying to talk my mom into purchasing it while we were at K-mart when some guy approached us, introduced himself as a high-school teacher and told her that it would be a great purchase. He was convincing enough that she bought it. I had to sa...

Re: Black Jack Cart for Vic 20

Thanks for the welcome! I am the same guy from AtariAge. I grew up with an Atari 2600 and a Vic-20 (that we later upgraded to a Commodore 64). Here's Bug Crusher... http://i933.photobucket.com/albums/ad172/cvga/IMG_0321.jpg I wish I would have kept better track of when, where and how much I paid for...

Black Jack Cart for Vic 20

Hi,

I've had my Vic 20 and Commodore 64 for a long time (over 30 years!) but just joined Denial today. I thought you might be interested in seeing this picture of my Black Jack cart for the Vic 20. I think it's still pretty rare.
