Re: Vic-20D case mod/hack

Wow, has it been 10 years?!? Sorry, I've been busy , but ran across my Vic-20D project last week in the closet, and got the bug to get it finished. At least functionally, anyway. Still some small details I want to add. I hope these photos work out, Snapfish changed their policy and I can't share pho...

Vic-20 & Commodore books for sale

Long time since my last post, sorry guys. Been busy with family and other hobbies. Which leads me to this post, I've got to thin down my collection, these books just sit on my shelf, never getting used. Many more to come, keep watching. I know the international shipping prices are high, please conta...

Disk software for Vic + sealed Jungle Hunt on ebay

Hi, Selling some items that just gather dust in my home. I have 2 disk based software titles for the vic, plus a sealed Jungle Hunt in an auction. First $20 + shipping takes it. But if thats too high, make an offer through ebay, let me know you are a member of Denial. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...

Well, I think I drew it out on paper, but didn't upload it. It is really simple, just follow the pinout description, and run some traces to the appropriate cart pin. I wasn't happy with the audio quality, so I need to work on that some. I was running it through an external speaker. I was thinking ab...

Free 1702 monitors

I am working on clearing out some space, and I have a pair of Commodore 1702 monitors that need a new home. Both are missing the door that covers the controls. One has been tested for an hour, and no problems came up, great sound and color. It does have some scratches on the case, and a marker was u...

Bombjack.org

Is DLH from Bombjack.org a member here?

If not, can anybody vouch for him? I have some books
he may want to add to his pdf collection, but I'm hesitant
to loan my stuff to a complete stranger.

Thanks for any input.

I have been on the watch for those also. I do have one, boxed even. I noticed on Zimmers that he lists this model as 'unknown' but mine has a label on the box listing it as Vic-1311, same as the triangle shaped joystick. I also have a boxed triangle joystick. I would love to have a boxed set of the ...

Video of my 1541-64HDD

I've put together a video of my 64HDD in a 1541 case. My camera is a cheap Fuji, so quality is not the best. Plus I suck at this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LCBlbRQxag I've hooked a monitor up the the 64HDD so you can see the operation. Normally I run it 'headless', sealed in the 1541 ca...

I have a cassette clone with a similar label, maybe mine has the 'hidden' label that Jeff couldn't peel off? Here's a photo of the label, with the cassette player: http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2865493090102828028moukID BTW, if anybody wants this thing, let me know. -Brian Edit: I love the wa...

WOW, awesome collection!

I hope you are keeping something back, so you can still enjoy
using the equipment!

I hate to be nosy, but why get rid of it? That looks to be the
collection of a lifetime!

Vader-64, more case modding

I've had the stuff to do this for about a year, and got busy this week: http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2800510350102828028VsoVmL http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2551107380102828028iqjGwl http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2551107380102828028iqjGwl I added a blue power led. Schema, I have a motherboard from a very early vic that works. I posted about it here this summer, as it is quite different than other boards I have seen. Eslapion ( I think) told me it was basically identical to a 1001 board. Here is a picture of it : http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2715349620...

Here is a photo of the Suncom joystick velcro-ed to the case. I tested it today, and it works, but sure sucks for gaming! http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2654265620102828028OoBEHB I had this computer sold locally, but bought it back when the new owner moved. I don't really use it, and sho...

I bet thats right. The one I have is loose, so I don't know what
suncom named it.

I'll get a picture tonight if I have time.
