I'm working on a custom power supply for my C64 that can handle VIC's with a DIN-style power connector too. Unfortunately, I still have not found a plug for my two VIC's with two-prong connector. My search continues!

Could you maybe upload a picture of your connector? I am curious what connector you used. I've seen a couple of different once at a local thrift shop, but none of them looked like an ideal fit.

Useful hint: unless we are talking about a run-of-the-mill part, always check the suspicious chip in a working unit, not the other way round.
