Yes, there will be a new batch soon with some additional commodities we're finishing these days. Some patience and Princess will be back ;-)

Re: Manosoft Princess device (split from: Datasette Question

As I was saying in my previous post those Ultra II cards unfortunately do have an internal architecture that is too old and slow to support grabbing operations on low end microcontrollers. Fortunately much faster alternatives have become very cheap in the recent years. In case of any issue please co...

Re: Manosoft Princess device (split from: Datasette Question

Saw it, analyzed and replied..

The content of the TAP file is corrupted. This could be caused by the card being way too slow. I sent you a picture of the content so you can verify.
Does the tape load correctly on VIC using the same datassette?

Re: Manosoft Princess device (split from: Datasette Question

Ultra II were probably class 4 and they have yet inside a very old and slow architecture, that card is definitely not going to work for grabbing, you can stay on the same brand and get one new Ultra like this https://flashmemo.co.uk/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e9...

Re: Manosoft Princess device (split from: Datasette Question

OPEN15,8,15,”XF2:NAME.TAP”:CLOSE15 If the red led flashes after sending this statement it could be because: 1 - You still have the old version of the Firmware that did not support XF2 command (here please make sure you've the newest one=version F before going any further) 2 - the SD card is write p...

Re: Manosoft Princess device (split from: Datasette Question

Nope Jeff, it's not necessary that you buy the universal kit, unless you plan to use the Princess with other CBM 8bit computers in the future (C16, Plus-4, C128 etc).. Once you have the card you'll be able to plug it behind your VIC with no additional cables. The base kit comes also with a small ada...

Re: Manosoft Princess device (split from: Datasette Question

yes, I'm italian too  yesterday evening reading the comment about the "5 seconds" I had an idea on how to get rid of it, so I made a change in the firmware and it seems to be working quite well, it will go through our usual sequence of tests and if everything looks ok it will be rele...

Re: Manosoft Princess device (split from: Datasette Question

Hi All, I'm the person that designed the additional electronic and the firmware portion that handles TAP file in the C64SD Princess. I read your comments and yes.. you're right.. sometimes we're too inclined to the understatement :D .. I also read about the "5 seconds thing".. actually it'...
