EPYX (pronounced “epics”) was an entertainment software development and publishing house located in Mountain View and Sunnyvale California, U.S.A.
EPYX was initially known as “Automated Simulations”, Inc. In the early 1980s EPYX released at least seven games for the VIC-20, including ports of several titles that would later be considered classics in their respective genres.
The following games were released by EPYX for the VIC-20:
- Sword of Fargoal (366C);
- Temple of Apshai (216C);
- Crush, Crumble and Chomp (436C);
- Rescue at Rigel (416C);
- Monster Maze (566R);
- Fun With Music (676R);
- Ricochet (526C).
